The Best Way to Transform Fear Into Courage.

Overcome your fears once and for all.
Fear is the most destructive emotion.

Out of all emotional states, fear has the lowest vibrational frequency.

Fear had it's time and place.

We would not exist without fear.

Fear is what drives animals to survive, when they feel threatened they go into defence mode.

The "fight or flight" mechanism we now know as panic was actually needed as our species evolved.

That was back when the world was a dangerous place. Our main aim was to survive.

Things have changed since then.

Basic survival is no longer the objective of you life is it?

You no longer need to adapt to the world around you, instead you adapt the world to suit your needs.

These days the risk of being attacked by a sabre tooth tiger is zilch.

Overcome the feeling of fear.

One of the most common manifestations of fear is panic.

When you have a panic attack, you are experiencing the "fight or flight" response to a perceived threat, real or imaginary.

To stop the panic, you need to remind yourself that it is not needed as there is no real threat. It is all in your head.

Trust me, I know it's not always that easy. I have always been a panic sufferer so I am more than familiar with the feeling.

Take deep breaths and keep telling yourself that it is all in your head.  Remind yourself that the threat is not real.

Master your emotions, become fearless.

Why not avoid anxiety altogether?

It is possible to rewire your mind to no longer react in a fearful way to perceived threats.

You must learn to replace the of fear with a different emotion, preferably a positive one.

Here is an example of how this works:

The problem:

You are expected to speak publicly in front of a large crowd. This can be a nerve racking situation and may induce anxiety.

Anxious thoughts in your head turn into the physical "fight or flight" response. You may start sweating and shaking and your heart starts beating faster.

The solution:

During the time leading up to the event you need to prepare yourself for success instead of worrying about failure. Learning to how to meditate seriously helps

Here I will attempt to explain the technique that works for me:
  1. First, get yourself into a comfortable position. Focus on your breathing and relax your muscles.
  2. Once relaxed, imagine yourself in the event making you anxious, everything going smoothly. Detach yourself emotionally.
  3. Now, think back to a time when you felt really really good. Excitement, confidence, success.
  4. Immerse yourself in the moment. Feel the positivity as if it were happening now.
  5. Continue feeling that wonderful emotion. Now clench a fist and feel that emotion increasing as your fist gets tighter. Increasing until it is stronger than ever.
  6. Repeat as many times as needed.
  7. Every time you need to call upon this emotion all you have to do is clench your fist.
That technique uses the concept of mental triggers. It is very useful in many situations and has saved me from embarrassing myself countless times.

I could explain it better in video form.

If you would like me to attempt to make this into a guided meditation session for Youtube some day in the future, let me know in the comments.

Just keep reminding yourself.

Fear is all in your head.

Remind yourself frequently that you no longer need to be anxious or afraid. You can let go of all of them thoughts and feelings.

In anxiety inducing situations you must have courage. Transform those negative anxious racing thoughts into hyped up feelings of excitement, drive and passion.

Just simply use your mental energy positively.  Make use of the adrenaline rush.

I will make you all a guided meditation video if 5 people comment saying they want me to.
